This section of our homepage is dedicated to regular everyday
life with Jake and the friends we have made on the way. Without personal fulfillments
in this way the Titles, Ribbons, Trophies and Ring Success would mean nothing. Many
people lose sight of this chasing the big blue ribbons. We go to shows / trials
feeling we have the best dog and HIT, Qualify or Non-qualifying we go home with
the best dog. Here in Newfoundland the number of show days are far out numbered
by regular days so the most important thing for me is the temperament the dog
has around our home. A dog that is unmanageable to live with but has great ring
success is not worth it in my opinion.
